Located at CAMC's General Hospital campus, the Neurosciences Center is southern West Virginia's advanced center for diagnosing and treating neurological illness and traumatic injuries. The center's services include neurodiagnostics, emergency services, neurological intensive care and neurosurgery.

The Neurosciences Center's patients benefit from its proximity to the Medical Rehabilitation Center, a 19-bed skilled nursing unit, and CAMC’s Level I Trauma Center. The Center also includes a 5-bed neuroscience intensive care unit and a 30-bed acute care unit.

The Center was the first in the state to offer transcranial doppler studies, and continues to provide high tech diagnosis and treatment. Staff neurologists and neurosurgeons are on-call 24-hours a day. For more information, call (304) 388-5432.
