Resource Center counseling The life of someone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction is a life of chaos, physical, emotional, and spiritual pain not only for the person affected by the disease of addiction but for that person’s family and friends as well. The FRC is now providing counseling for those who are dealing with addiction as well as their families. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction related issues please feel free to contact the FRC at 388-2545. We now have a Certified Clinical Addictions Counselor on staff. American Red Cross Babysitting Class - (304) 345-9051 Join staff from the American Red Cross as they teach you skills on how to become a first class babysitter. This course will cover how to interview for a babysitting job, teach diapering and feeding techniques, as well as other helpful first aid tips. Come in comfortable clothes and bring your lunch. Get respect and responsibility from your kids, handle misbehavior, stay calm and avoid arguments, get your kids to listen the first time and avoid power struggles over chores. Join us for this seven-week therapy group, led by Janet Walters, MA. Group is based on Becoming a Love and Logic Parent program. Group offered for parents of children 10 years and younger.
