Specialized care for children needing the following therapies:

• Chemotherapy

• Enzyme replacement

• IV hydration

• IV immunotherapy

• Antibiotic therapy

• Blood products

• Lab draws

• Maintenance of implanted ports and central venous devices

• Stimulation testing

The Children's Infusion Center is a newly renovated outpatient unit located on the first floor of Women and Children's Hospital. The unit provides care for children from newborns through age 17 who have very specialized needs. The unit has four private rooms. Nurses caring for these children have many years of experience dealing with children who have special needs. A child life therapist provides age-appropriate activities during the hospital visit.
