Dr.
Paul Bown
is a native of Texas. He received his bachelor of arts degree in
english from
Texas
A&M
University. He completed his doctorate of medicine from Texas Tech School of
Medicine in Lubbock,
TX. He completed his general surgery internship at Tulane University
School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
He completed his general surgery residency at Marshall University
School of Medicine in Huntington, WV.
In
2001, Dr. Bown served as a US Navy surgeon, Lieutenant Commander,
and was deployed with the USS John F. Kennedy Carrier Battle Group
in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He also was deployed with
Fleet Hospital Eight as a general surgeon for Operation Iraqi
Freedom.
Dr.
Bown joined CAMC and Integrated Health Care Providers, Inc. in 2005
and is a board certified general surgeon. He currently is a Fellow
of the American
College
of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic
Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha.
