Paul Bown, MD

Dr. Paul Bown is a native of Texas. He received his bachelor of arts degree in english from Texas A&M University. He completed his doctorate of medicine from Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. He completed his general surgery internship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his general surgery residency at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV.

In 2001, Dr. Bown served as a US Navy surgeon, Lieutenant Commander, and was deployed with the USS John F. Kennedy Carrier Battle Group in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He also was deployed with Fleet Hospital Eight as a general surgeon for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Dr. Bown joined CAMC and Integrated Health Care Providers, Inc. in 2005 and is a board certified general surgeon. He currently is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha.

Mark A. Choueiri,
MD

Dr. Mark A. Choueiri is a native of Charleston, WV. He received his bachelor of arts degree in biology from West Virginia University. He completed his doctor of medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Robert C. Byrd Health Science Center of West Virginia University in Charleston.

In 2000, Dr. Choueiri began his professional experience in Circleville, OH, working with the Pickaway Health Services General Surgery and Advanced Surgical Care. He also was the Medical Director of the Wound Care Clinic at Berger Hospital.

Dr. Choueiri returned to his home state and joined CAMC and Integrated Health Care Providers, Inc. in 2005. He is a board certified general surgeon. He currently is a member of the Kanawha Medical Society, Alpha Omega Alpha and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Choueiri also has participated in several research projects and has been published in the American Journal of Surgery and the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
