Rebecca Richmond, the pharmacy residency program director, was recognized at the March CAMC board of trustees meeting.
Those nominating Richmond said not only is she an excellent pharmacy practice leader that strives to deliver the best care to her patients, she is also one of the most caring and selfless people when it comes to her residents.
The nomination noted that she is a rock for the residents during their chaotic and stressful training period. They said it makes residencies much fuller and richer to have someone so supportive and encouraging as the director.
Those nominating Rebecca said she is an invaluable resource, always available, understanding, caring, accommodating and bends over backward to design rotation schedules that best meet their professional and personal goals.
The pharmacy residents complimented Richmond saying she juggles her numerous responsibilities with grace and gives detailed attention to each task she completes. They went on to say she takes a vested interest in their lives and genuinely wants to know how they're doing.
