Courtney Larch, Brittany Kinder and Lisa Clark from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were recognized for helping parents celebrate a first for their newborns.
Last fall, the three gave parents the opportunity to engage in some Halloween fun with their newborns.
They spent several hours of their own time preparing for trick-or-treat in the NICU. They spent their own money in order for our babies and families to have a happy Halloween.
Larch, Kinder and Clark helped parents dress their babies for pictures to remember this special occasion.
With their professional knowledge of each newborn's disease process, they were able to prepare the baby for photos without any stress to the newborn. Tubes and wires were hidden and the props used made each baby's picture unique and special.
