CAMC is West Virginia's premiere medical teaching center. Physicians are regularly sent to Charleston from around the globe for training in specialized procedures.

Through our unique affiliation with West Virginia University (WVU), Marchall University (MU) and Osteopaths, CAMC hosts more than 500 students each year in programs leading to degrees or certifications in health professions.

Our facilities are comprised of dedicated and knowledgeable medical staff members with research labs, classrooms and faculty offices, all equipped with the latest technology.

Since its origin in 1972, the CAMC branch pf WVU's medical school has given students, patients and affiliates access to the latest healthcare treatments and technologies available - often from the esperts who helped develop them.
