The CAMC Foundation would like to thank all of the sponsors and everyone who attended the 2011 Gala. A special thank you goes out to our major sponsors: McKesson Corporation, Siemens Medical Solutions, BB&T West Virginia Foundation, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Commercial Insurance, Pritchard Mining and Huron Consulting Group. The Gala netted more than $371,000 to support programs and services at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital. A very special thank you also goes to Frank and Camilla Baer who were our Gala co-chairs.
On May 11, Foundation President Gail Pitchford presented CAMC Women and Children's Hospital with a $371,000.00 check. Proceeds from the Gala support Prevention First, a program providing care for underserved and high-risk patients. These patients make up 70 percent of the hospital's population. Diverse services are offered through the program.
