Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) provides prompt and efficient execution of medical therapy to meet the needs of the critically ill, vascular, thoracic and surgical patient population. Services provided include ECG monitoring, thrombolytic therapy administration, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation with airway management, vasoactive medication administration, transvenous and external pacemaker and Svo2 monitoring. Our family-friendly environment encourages frequent visitation and involvement in the patient’s plan of care. We provide the best possible patient care through constant monitoring and implementation of quality improvement programs.
