Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) provides a challenging work environment for developing clinical practice by providing care to a diverse patient population. Therapies include, but are not limited to: ventilator management, ventilator weaning, ECG monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, management of severe sepsis/septic shock, intra-aortic balloon pump therapy and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
