 Patient Financial Services
Pursuant to West Virginia law, a hospital is required to file their charge-master with the West Virginia Health Care Authority. Listed below are charges for Room and Board and for a selected number of Imaging, Laboratory, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy services. Our charges are the same for all patients, but a patient’s responsibility may vary depending on their individual health insurance plan. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our financial counselors to determine if they qualify for discounts or other assistance. These charges are effective January 1, 2007.

Emergency Department services
Emergency Department charges are based on the level of emergency care required for the treatment of the patient. The levels reflect the personnel resources, the intensity of care and the amount of time needed to provide treatment. Both the hospital and emergency room physician professional charges for each level of care are listed. These charges do not include fees for drugs, supplies or additional procedures that are required for emergency care. The hospital and ER physician will bill separately for services.
