 Patient Financial Services

The Patient Registration Representatives are responsible for interviewing the incoming patient or patient representative, gathering data and recording the information required for outpatient registration, inpatient admission, and placing the patient to an available room. We obtain complete and accurate demographic and insurance information for each patient. Patient Registration Representatives are required to evaluate patient flow and make adjustments for volume or  workload in order to keep patient appointments on time for services.

Admitting / Registration Office - Memorial Hospital Main Lobby
Monday - Friday – 5:00 am – 8:30 pm.
Saturday – Sunday – 6:30am – 8:30 pm
Patients are to report to this office for registration for the following services:

  • Inpatient admissions

  • Observation (overnight) 

  • Outpatient registrations for: EEG / EKG / Echo / pulmonary tests / cardiac rehab new patient orientation / exercise stress tests

  • Radiology tests, MRI, CT, & Nuclear Medicine tests

Patient Access Center - Memorial Hospital Main Lobby- check in with Admitting
 
Monday - Friday – 5am – 4:30pm 
Pre-admission testing/am surgeries.

Memorial Radiology - Memorial Hospital on first floor in Radiology Department

Monday - Friday – 7:00am – 3:30pm
Scheduled and non-scheduled radiology procedures. 
CT scans / MRI’s / MRA’s / Ultrasounds / Upper GI’s / Small Bowel / Barium Swallow / Nuclear Stress tests / Thyroid scans / Bone scans / VQ scans / General xrays

Minor Surgery - Memorial Hospital on first floor next to the clinics and dental center

Monday - Friday 6:30am – 4pm
Gastroenterology and minor surgery procedures.
Colonoscopy / Flexible sigmoidoscopy / Gastroscopy / Bronchoscopy / ERCP’s / TEE’s

Memorial Outpatient Imaging Center - 3416 MacCorkle Avenue, Charleston, WV

Monday - Friday – 7am – 7pm
Scheduled and non-scheduled radiology procedures/xrays.

Memorial Clinics - Robert C. Byrd Teaching Center

Monday -Friday 6:30 am -5pm
Family Medicine Center and WVU Behavioral Medicine
There are multiple clinics located at Memorial Hospital. Please contact CAMC scheduling department at 304-388-9677 for an appointment.
