About us

CAMC Volunteers make a difference.  At Charleston Area Medical Center, volunteers are an essential part of our team.  They are one of our most valuable resources, contributing services to other staff members that maybe unable to provide.  Volunteers offer support and time to patients and staff, making a stay at CAMC a more pleasant experience. 

The auxiliary is a volunteer group of women and men dedicated to providing good community relations, serving patients and their families, employees, and providing needed funds to enhance patient care and adds comfort to the family.

Through the years the auxiliary has donated an enormous amount of time and effort to CAMC. 

Effective January 2004 the Auxiliary/Volunteers donated several items to the three CAMC hospitals.
