At the July meeting of the medical staff executive committee, Marty Henley, CRNA, was recognized for her efforts to ensure the anesthesia electronic record was successfully implemented working with physician leaders and CRNAs at each hospital. She has worked nights and weekends ensuring everyone received necessary training. During each of the go-live events, she was on-site for live technical support and remains the technical support person for issues that arise.
Henley also was recognized as the Heart and Soul manager awardee for the second quarter.
The medical staff also recognized Steve McCormick, MD, for being the primary physician providing oversight of the nurse practitioners at the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic. The people who nominated him said he has admirably performed these duties after assuming this role a year ago.
