The CAMC Medical Rehabilitation Center’s Challenged Sports Program is supported by many local individuals and organizations. The program’s mission is to use sport as a therapeutic intervention and promote a lifetime investment in one’s health and well-being. This year, the CAMC Challenged Sports Program allowed more than 150 physically challenged athletes to participate in 11 different sports including swimming, track and field, archery, basketball and golf. The hard work the athletes put into training throughout the year was on display at the 20th Annual West Virginia Challenged Sports Championship. With the help of many generous supporters we were able to raise more than $22,000 to support physically challenged athletes in the community.
