Walk for Hope

The inaugural Walk for Hope on Sept. 13 to support the CAMC Children’s Cancer Center was a resounding success. More than 200 people walked the three- mile course at Coonskin Park, raising more than $4,400. These all important funds will be available to the physicians and staff serving on the front lines of pediatric cancer care to help support the needs of the unit and the families battling the disease. The children and families get to share a laugh and revel in the fact that they are working to help local families who have traveled this unfortunate road and those who will follow behind them.

Eighth Annual Celebration of Hope

This wonderful event is held each year to celebrate the lives of children battling, those who have battled and those that have lost the fight to pediatric cancers. It allows families to get together and let their children be children...something those with pediatric cancers don’t always get to do. They feel supported, honored and loved. Each year the CAMC Foundation is able to support this event due to the generosity of donors like you. About 150 people attended this year’s celebration which was held Sept. 13 at Coonskin Park.
