  1. What is your name?
    BD: Bob Douglas.

  2. What is your position?
    BD: Hospitality. I am a VIP Volunteer, which means I interact with the patients and help keep their mind off of their problems.

  3. How long have you been a volunteer?
    BD: 7 years.

  4. What do you love about being a volunteer?
    BD: Interacting with the patients. I’m a people person and I love talking to people. If I can make them laugh or smile I’ve done my job.

  5. What makes CAMC a great place to be a volunteer?
    BD: I’ve been here as a patient many times and they employees always treated me with the best of care. I love all the people here. I use to some of them work with them and I know a lot of them.

  6. What advice would you give future CAMC volunteers?
    BD: Just be yourself, relax and put the patients first. Treat them like the most important person in your life at that moment.
