Congratulations on your new position and welcome to Charleston Area Medical Center! Prior to attending corporate orientation, there are a few items you will need to review and complete. Please take the time to read the Corporate Orientation Welcome Packet provided to you or click on the link below. The Corporate Orientation Welcome Packet is designed to answer many of the questions a new employee has, for example; how do I complete my required in-services, what documents do I need to take with me to orientation, what time does orientation begin and what benefits are offered as a part of my compensation package.

New Employee Forms
As a new employee, there are several forms you much complete. These forms include, state and federal tax forms, employee data sheet, and dependent data form and beneficiary designation for benefit eligible employee. To get started, simply click on the link below. You will be directed to the login page you used when you applied for employment. If you do not remember your username or password, please click help. Once you have logged in, follow the instructions to complete the required paperwork.

Employee In-services
To complete your in-services, please click on the link below. You will be required to set up an account requiring a username and password. You will then be sent an email by CAMC Institute Education Portal to the address you include in your account registration. Next, you will click on the link included in the email sent from CAMC Institute Education Portal. The link will navigate you to a site where you will entered the required Enrollment Key, provided by an employment center representative. The enrollment key is very important because it will allow you access to the required in-services for the specific orientation you are scheduled to attend.

After you have entered the enrollment key, you will be directed to the Corporate Orientation course and this will include all of the required and optional in-services. Required in-services include; AIDET, Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, Security Awareness & Privacy Practices, Infection Prevention, Patient Safety and Safe Environment of Care. Please remember you MUST complete all required in-services or you will not be permitted to attend orientation.
