| Memorial Hospital's emergency room experiences more than 36,000 visits annually. While the ER serves all patients with all conditions, it is particularly well known for its heart and vascular care. A new two-tiered triage system is being implemented to meet not only your emergent medical needs but the urgent ones more rapidly as well. The cardiac team is on call 24/7 to meet the incoming heart attack patient's needs and includes physician specialists in emergency medicine, cardiology, radiology, cardio-thoracic surgery as well as specially trained nurses, pharmacists, case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, x-ray, lab and EKG technicians.
