Emergency Room (ER) at Memorial

Memorial Hospital's emergency room experiences more than 36,000 visits annually. While the ER serves all patients with all conditions, it is particularly well known for its heart and vascular care. A new two-tiered triage system is being implemented to meet not only your emergent medical needs but the urgent ones more rapidly as well. The cardiac team is on call 24/7 to meet the incoming heart attack patient's needs and includes physician specialists in emergency medicine, cardiology, radiology, cardio-thoracic surgery as well as specially trained nurses, pharmacists, case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, x-ray, lab and EKG technicians.
