Outpatient Care Center

At the Outpatient Care Center clinics, our goal is to meet the health care needs of our patients ages 18 and older. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified medical assistants.  Our team has training in several fields of medicine including internal medicine, behavioral medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, pain management, palliative care, stomal care, surgery and urology.

Our clinic uses the services of resident physicians. Resident physicians are medical school graduates who have dedicated a portion of their time spent in training to serve you by providing primary care and specialty care through this clinic.  The resident physicians are supervised by attending physicians in all of their patient care decisions.

This clinic is a cooperative effort between the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University-Charleston Division and Charleston Area Medical Center.
