| The new and improved cardiac catheterization department relocated from inside CAMC Memorial Hospital to the CAMC Heart and Vascular Center with seven catheterization labs and two electrophysiology labs. The unit is designed with efficiency in mind, as patients enter from the perimeter of the labs and supplies are located in center, allowing quicker access to supplies needed for procedures. It has direct access to the surgery suite at Memorial for emergency situations. The new labs also house the most advanced cath lab technology. |
