| We are the highest level Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Neurosciences Center and Medical Rehabilitation Center. Each year, our experienced Trauma Center staff treats more than 3,100 patients. An average of 1,500 patients also receive neurosurgery and medical rehabilitation services here. Plus, our Stroke Center has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center from The Joint Commission, which serves as the gold standard for measuring excellence in national care. Our interdisciplinary stroke team, specially-trained in the latest methods of stroke care, offers a 24/7 rapid response process for incoming stroke patients and includes physician specialists in emergency medicine, neurology and radiology, as well as nurses, clinical pharmacists, acute care therapists, case managers and social workers. |
