Greg Key is the Parking Maintenance Supervisor at General Hospital’s Medical Pavilion.
Key spends a large part of his day helping anyone who needs it. He assists with removing wheelchairs and walkers from cars and getting patients to their appointments.
Key helps get patients out of their vehicles and sometimes takes patients to their doctors’ offices while family members park their vehicles.
Key witnessed a vehicle slamming into the wall of the parking garage ramp after the driver had experienced a seizure. Key broke a window to get into the car to help the driver, called security, and called to have the woman taken to the emergency room.
The nomination concluded by saying Key helps with anything that he sees needs addressed every day.
