Icey Meadows works in Environmental Services at Vandalia Health CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Meadows continuously goes above and beyond her call of duty of "just housekeeping."
Not only does she do the most thorough job in keeping patient rooms, restrooms and staff areas clean, she will often go out of her way to find extra linen for patients as well as pants and gowns when the linen closets are empty.
Recently, when her unit's ice machine broke, Meadows took it upon herself to retrieve a rolling cart of ice for the floor ensuring that her patients had access to fresh ice water.
Meadows is always professional and courteous to everyone that she interacts with and alerts nursing staff to patient needs.
