Whitney Brame is a Social Worker at Women and Children’s Hospital.
Her responsibilities cover most of the patient population at Women and Children’s and often involve difficult circumstances surrounding children.
Brame consistently exercises her skills and professional knowledge to advocate for the patient’s best interest while balancing sensitive and volatile matters with families, DHHR and other stakeholders.
Recently, Brame was instrumental in managing the coordination of placement for two children with complex conditions that required care at specialty facilities. She went to bat with the DHHR, judges and prosecutors, among others, to get all parties involved aligned so children could access the care they needed and deserved. Additionally, within the same week the activity with these patients was at its peak, Brame masterfully managed a complicated CPS matter with a newborn baby.
Brame is always steadfast in her pursuit of advocating for our patients.
