CAMC has entered into a joint venture with DASCO Home Medical Equipment to better serve patients needing home medical equipment in Charleston and the Greater Kanawha Valley.
DASCO-CAMC Home Medical Equipment specializes in respiratory equipment such as home oxygen, non-invasive ventilation and CPAP. The company also provides walkers, wheelchairs and adjustable beds along with other DME items and is in network with insurances in our area.
DASCO-CAMC has staff and supplies on hand, rather than having to make arrangements that could delay leaving the hospital or immediate use of the needed equipment. Patient freedom to choose any provider remains unchanged.
DASCO is a family owned and operated home medical equipment company based in Columbus that's been serving people in the area for more than 30 years. It has similar joint ventures at eight of its 15 locations. CAMC has representation on the board and also participates in regularly scheduled meetings to provide input on services offered.
