Katie Zavora works with Vandalia Health IT Informatics Provider Support and Education.
Zavora goes above and beyond to make her co-workers and anyone she encounters feel special and valued. While teaching classes to new users, Zavora makes sure all end users feel welcomed, comfortable and able to ask questions.
On her co-workers’ birthdays, Zavora makes sure to make each person feel special individually. She makes sure they have a small gift and knows they are appreciated.
On another occasion Zavora organized a baby shower for a co-worker. She went out of her way to decorate and plan the party after hours to make sure the event was a surprise.
Recently Zavora organized a celebration for someone who was battling a personal medical trial. They were able to celebrate completing their last day of treatment. Zavora organized treats, decorations and gifts so this person would feel supported by their work family.
Every day Zavora goes out of her way to make others feel welcomed and valued.
