A “Stop the Bleed” class was conducted for 35 teachers at Sacred Heart Grade school in Charleston on Oct. 24. The class is meant to teach lay persons how to stop potential life-threatening external bleeding from some form of trauma. The teachers received hands-on training on ways to control bleeding. The school was also presented with a Bleeding Control Kit and wall mount made possible by the CAMC Foundation.
