Change in Remote Access to EPCS and Cerner MyAccess - Action Required

Effective Date:  Tuesday, October 28, 2025

The Duo app is being decommissioned on October 28, 2025. After this date, it will no longer function for login to Cerner MyAccess and EPCS (Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances). Microsoft Authenticator will be the only supported multi-factor authentication method for remote access. Authentication popups for EPCS and Cerner remote access (myaccess.camc.org) on the user’s mobile device will appear in Microsoft Authenticator, replacing Duo.

Microsoft Authenticator Required

  • Physicians who haven’t installed Microsoft Authenticator must do so before October 28 to avoid disruptions to remote access and EPCS.
  • It is available in the app store for your mobile device.
  • This is the same app used for authentication on Office 365.
  • IT Desktop Support is available for setup, troubleshooting, and transition assistance throughout the rollout. Call 304.388.4357 for help.
