CAMC is currently operating two drive-through COVID-19 testing sites:
CAMC LabWorks, Chesterfield Avenue, Charleston: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
CAMC Teays Valley Hospital: Hurricane, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Only patients with a physician's order may be screened at the drive-thru locations.
Results will be available through CAMC's patient portal, doctor who ordered the test or via text or automated phone call. Results should be reported within about 24 to 48 hours.
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and are concerned that you may have Coronavirus, you can use CAMC's 24/7 Care app to talk to a provider anytime, day or night, to determine if you need tested. The cost for 24/7 Care is $49 per visit for the public; free for CAMC employees and their immediate family (the COVID-19 test is an additional cost and can be billed to insurance).
Simply download the 24/7 Care app, set up an account, and request a visit. A CAMC provider will call you or video chat with you and give you an order to be screened, if necessary.
