Visiting hours vary. Many patients, including newborns and people in intensive care, have special needs. Friends and family may visit you between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Children under 14 must have special permission from your nurse to visit you. Visitors will be limited to two at a time, and your visitors may be required to pick up a pass at the lobby information desk. These measures have been taken for your safety and comfort.

If you have questions about special visiting hours or policies on your unit, please ask a member of your nursing staff. Some units with special visiting policies include:

  • Labor, delivery and postpartum unit
  • Pediatrics and pediatric intensive care unit
  • Medical rehabilitation
  • Neonatal intensive care
  • Post-cardiac cath unit
  • Special care/intensive care units
  • Substance abuse recovery units

If you have a roommate, we ask that your friends limit their visits to 30 minutes. Your visitors should wait in the waiting area when your nurse or another caregiver arrives to administer treatment.
