Congratulations on your new position with a CAMC Health System affiliate! We'd like to provide you with some information to help guide you through our pre-employment process. There will be an Employment Representative that will be contacting you within the next couple of days to discuss our onboarding process. Please be aware that, while an offer of employment has been extended to you, your employment offer is only finalized when the background check, physical and drug screen have been successfully completed. You will receive a separate e-mail from email@example.com with the subject titled “Charleston Area Medical Center – Request for Additional Information”. The background authorization form gives Charleston Area Medical Center the authorization to complete necessary checks before employment.
You will receive a separate e-mail from firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject titled "Form I-9 Request for Completion for (your name)". Form I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. Please bring appropriate IRCA documents to Corporate Orientation. Refer to the IRCA Documents link below.
|The security office is located on the ground floor of the employee parking garage at Memorial next to the vehicle entrance. You will need to bring a Photo ID with you. You'll receive your ID badge at orientation. For directions, 3000 MacCorkle Ave, SE|
|Employee Health is located on the Memorial campus in Suite 410 within the Medical Staff Office Building (MSOB). The MSOB is the 9 story building between the main hospital buildings and MacCorkle Ave. The physical is conducted at no cost to you. You will be required to bring your immunization records to Employee Health on the date of your physical. If you do not have an immunization record, physician documentation of childhood diseases is acceptable. If you cannot provide physician documentation, you will be required to go to the Employee Health office during your first week of employment to receive vaccination for measles, mumps, and rubella. You will also receive a blood test to see if you are immune to chicken pox. If you are not immune, you will be vaccinated. 3100 MacCorkle Ave, SE|
Before attending orientation, please review the Corporate Orientation Instruction Booklet (refer to the above link for first day instructions). The dress code for orientation is business causal. Don't forget to bring the appropriate IRCA documents. There are two locations for orientation, Please refer to your welcome email for the assigned location.
