The CAMC Cancer Center in Teays Valley is a small office with a small staff, but that didn't stop them from coming through in a big way for some patients in need at Christmas.

During December, staff members collected food, toys and other items to donate to patients who had been given a terminal diagnosis or had small children. They were able to brighten the Christmases of more than five patients and their families.

Additionally, a terminal patient with only about six months to live told staff how she missed Christmas carolers, so the employees, and some of their children, stopped by the patient's house to sing her some carols. The patient was moved to tears and very grateful.
