Regional Leaders in OB and Maternity Care

Over the last 30 years, CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital has delivered more than 75,000 babies – and every delivery is just as special as the first.

Our experienced team of obstetric and neonatal specialists is ready to provide skilled, compassionate care to both mothers and babies. From prenatal to postpartum care, we are here to help you every step of the way.

And if mom or baby need a little extra attention, we are home to the region’s largest and busiest Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), which is the highest level of care for babies with the greatest needs. In fact, our NICU is the only one in the state with physician coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) provides care for infants, children and adolescents who become critically ill or injured.

Breastfeeding Classes and Birth Education

At Women and Children’s Hospital, we are committed to providing comprehensive, family-centered obstetric and maternity care. At our Family Resource Center, we provide educational resources for expectant women and their families on various topics, including:

  • Childbirth
  • Breastfeeding
  • Car seat safety
  • Infant CPR
  • Baby basics
