Our Approach to Prenatal Care

At CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital, we are committed to providing comprehensive, family-centered obstetric and maternity care.

The skilled obstetrics and gynecology specialists who practice at CAMC provide compassionate care throughout your pregnancy. Your prenatal care includes checkups and any prenatal testing, and is very important to the health of you and your baby.

Once you find an Ob/Gyn provider, your physician or certified nurse midwife will give you a schedule of your visits and let you know what to expect throughout your pregnancy.

CAMC has been a leader in caring for mothers and babies for decades. We look forward to caring for you and your growing family.

Ultrasound images are the first pictures you’ll see of your baby. The Perinatal Diagnostic Center at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital provides routine pregnancy ultrasounds and more specialized tests for high-risk pregnancies, all in one convenient location. If you are having a high-risk pregnancy, our board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist will provide consultation and care before and after birth.
