Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Services

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a 10-bed unit located on the fourth floor of Women and Children's Hospital. This unit provides care for critically ill children from newborns through age 17. The unit encourages parents/caregivers to visit and stay with their children as medically possible. Physicians with specialized training in pediatric critical care medicine and highly trained pediatric intensive care nurses care for the children in the PICU.
